The family room was spacious and cozy. The staff were friendly and accommodating , particularly at dinner. Breakfast interactions could be improved, as some staff were less cute.

Simply no complaint, fantastic stay. Fairly clean and pleasant place, kind staff. Location - marvellous and brilliant, right by Highlands of Scotland, Dornoch and Cromarty Firth, and a park next to the church. Also, in the dining lounge area. Nice building and rooms with couch. Variety of reasonably priced food for meals.

The location was easy, within a close distance from Ferrycroft Visitor Centre Tourist Information Center.

The food was deliciously home-cooked, and they were accommodating to our late arrival.

If you have a dog, ask for a spot in the inn/bar area, it's dog-friendly and convenient for meals.

We had some delish fish for dinner and breakfast was filling, nice. They had a cozy bar that was chill to hang out in. It was a decent stay for a night.

In my wife's opinion, it would be great if the bar stayed open later for families after a long day of exploring.

I found the location of the Lairg quite convenient. The parking right in front made it easy to unload my bags. The room I stayed in had been recently refurbished, and the bathroom was nice. I appreciated the comfortable bed, though it was just a double. The low water flow in the shower was disappointing. Dining at the hotel was enjoyable. Both dinner and breakfast exceeded my expectations. There were some issues with noise from staff gathered in the backyard late into the night. I also had trouble accessing the hotel after hours, frustrating. I didn't get a key, so returning late became a hassle. The vibe from the staff sometimes felt off, like I was bothering them.

We explored Dunrobin Castle and did some fantastic walks nearby. The room was clean and comfy. The food was fantastic too, especially the seafood gratin. Just a tip , the evening staff is wonderful but be mindful of your breakfast interactions.
